J.E.Mathison is an ex-finance lawyer and now lives and writes in France. She is the founder of SPIRIT NESTS - bespoke writing retreats in the south of France.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in French, Spanish and Latin American Studies and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with Honours. After a successful career in law, she moved to France, from Australia, to pursue a calling to write. She has completed writing residencies in Australia, Europe and the U.S.A and is the wordsmith and ghost writer behind a suite of international clients. Her creative crop rotations include painting, favouring acrylics and watercolours, and some of her paintings are displayed under ART.
