​A SPIRIT NEST is a personalised writing retreat crafted in the knowledge writing is a transformative form of expression, that requires dedicated investments of time, space and availability for inspiration. Your founder and Chief-Nester - Julia Mathison is an author, wordsmith and artist, who has spent many years honing her own craft and developing effective writing tools to support the writing experience.

 

Your SPIRIT NEST takes place in a luxurious residence in the south of France. The villa was purposefully selected for its luxe features, and surroundings conducive to flow for a writer. 

The location is in proximity to Nice airport and walking distance to St Paul de Vence, an enclave long revered for its unique history as the preferred destination of famous writers and artists to spend their winters.
