Based on a true story of a surreal day in the life of a bookstore owner and professor of physics and quantum mechanics. A tale of the rescue of a barking deer and another encounter that would belie belief, except for the fact it is true. My  creative licence and interpretation was given permission to place it in the realm
of a short story.
